Tahir Shah on The Caliph’s House

If you've read The Caliph's House, you know that in 2004 I moved, along with my family, to Casablanca. This book is the story of our readjustment to living in Morocco. I wrote it because I wanted to show our post-9/11 world that Morocco is a very different place. It's a paradise land of good manners and tolerance, a place I am still so proud to make my home today.
