Sam’s (Not So) Eurotrip #18: Marrakesh, Morocco (Part 2)
So, do you want the good news or bad news first? Bad news? Alright... my camera was stolen in Morocco... But as you can see, I still posted a video. Nothing will keep me from posting a video. I bought a new camera and put together a sort of slide show with commentary using the still photos I took. I am extremely pissed that all the excellent footage I took is gone but the show must go on. Anyway, Morocco is VERY hot and VERY humid. You'll start sweating the second you step out on the street. While in Marrakesh, I did some exploring of the old city which is very interesting. Life has barely changed over the last few hundred or even thousand years. Tight, windy passages make up the old city. Around every corner is something new to discover. The Djemma el Fna is the main square in the old city. Every night it is transformed into a feast for your ears and eyes, not to mention for your tastebuds. Vendors set up their stands every single night with all types of Moroccan cuisine, while other locals come out with their snakes, monkeys, bands and instruments. Truly an amazing place. Enjoy!
